The Tourtelot
development on the former Benicia
Arsenal was approved by the DTSC
for residential development in June,
2004 after successfully mitigating
220 acres of a former Army range.
Over 4,500 munitions items were
safely recovered from the site.
The property is slated for 400 homes
and open space.
